AUDITORS · Community and career infrastructure
Turn training, experience and judgment into a verifiable path
AUDITORS is the professional community of auditors in Latin America. It brings together continuous development, deliberate practice and a competence registry that demonstrates what you can do. Membership opens community; competence is decided by evidence.
Professional trust is demonstrated. With evidence.
Where you stand
A path with several points of entry
Choose by the moment in your career, not by a plan's name. The community supports your development; the Competence Registry is a separate stage, earned with evidence.
The community
Five membership levels, one single path
Membership is annual. Each level adds professional development on top of the previous one. No level includes the approval of a competence or a discount on the assessment: that lives in the Registry, apart.

Competence registry
You present experience. We assess evidence. We record the scope you demonstrated
Competence is certified through two distinct routes depending on the standard. Membership may simplify the information you submit, but it does not change fee, criteria, assessment or outcome.
Route A · backed by international accreditation
Competence certification with international backing
For these four standards, a person's competence is certified under a personnel-certification scheme with international accreditation to ISO/IEC 17024. It is certification of the person —stronger than a private registry— and it rests on the auditor, not on membership.
Route B · IAC Competence Registry
IAC private competence registry
For ISO 42001 and standards outside the accredited scope, the IAC Competence Registry applies: a private scheme of assessment and registration, designed with rigor but without claiming 17024 accreditation. It records the scope you have actually demonstrated.
Recognition under ISO/IEC 17024 rests on the person who passes the assessment, not on membership or on the courses. AUDITORS membership opens community and development; it does not accredit people or certify competence by itself.

Payment is confirmed afterward. It is only requested once the integrity check confirms that the file meets the minimum. The registration decision is made by a person who did not take part in the assessment, and every decision carries the right to review and appeal.
Competence grades
Each grade rests on field evidence
The registry distinguishes training from demonstrated competence. A certificate documents training; competence is demonstrated in practice, with real audits and active assessment.
Verified Internal Auditor
Relevant training, five internal audits, at least two audit days, an active assessment and one reference.
Verified Auditor
Relevant training, four complete management-system audits, twenty days of experience (fifteen in audit activities), references and an active assessment.
Verified Lead Auditor
Verified Auditor plus three audits leading teams; a total of seven audits and thirty-five days, twenty-five of them in audit activities.
Anyone can say they audit. The hard —and valuable— part is to demonstrate how they do it.
Why it's credible
A community that helps you grow and a registry that can't be bought
The separation between training, assessing and assigning opportunities is verifiable, not merely stated. These rules protect the professional, the organizations and the independence of the ecosystem.
Membership does not buy competence
Members and non-members access the process under identical requirements, fees and criteria.
Whoever trained does not assess
There is a documented incompatibility period between training or mentoring and assessment.
Assessment and decision are separate
Whoever assesses the evidence does not make the final registration decision alone.
The process is charged, not the outcome
The assessor is paid per completed file, never for approval. Sales does not take part in files.
The public registry is neutral
Plan, payment seniority or Charter status do not alter order, visibility or opportunities.
Opportunities are not for sale
They are assigned by competence, scope, language, territory, availability and absence of conflicts.
The detail
Validity, maintenance and the link with training
The essentials are above. Here is the detail of how a recorded competence is maintained and how it connects with training, without turning into a closed funnel.
ValidityValidity, maintenance and CPD
The competence cycle runs for three years, with annual confirmation and a full reassessment every three. CPD combines professional activity, audit practice, continuous development and normative updating: it is not reduced to adding up course hours.

New validity decision
Lapsed payment or CPD does not trigger a revocation or an automatic grade downgrade: every change of grade requires a formal decision.
TrainingRelationship with G-CERTI Academy
The journey runs from training to guided practice, audit experience, independent assessment, public registration and maintenance. It is not a closed funnel.
- External certificates are accepted under criteria equivalent to our own.
- Training produces a training record; field competence requires later assessment.
- Pre-loading data from a course adds no points and guarantees no outcome.
- A G-CERTI Academy graduate gets a 30% benefit on the fee of their first year of membership; the benefit does not apply to the competence assessment or to Registry maintenance.
GovernanceWho decides what
Functions are separated so that no single person controls the process end to end.
Scheme Committee
Defines the competence model, the requirements and the rubrics. It does not decide files.
Assessment Unit
Documentary review, interviews and cases, with well-founded recommendations.
Decision Function
Confirms the rubric and the grade; it did not take part in the applicant's training or assessment.
Appeal Panel
People outside the original assessment and decision.
Relationship with G-CERTIWhat the registry means before a certification body
The IAC Registry can be a structured source of background, but G-CERTI keeps its own selection process: it validates technical and sector competence, checks for conflicts and impartiality, and authorizes each role and scope. No IAC grade obliges anyone to hire and no certification audit generates commissions for AUDITORS or its members. The connection with G-CERTI is a possible path, not the backing of the credential.
Founding cohort
AUDITORS Charter Cohort
The first members help build the culture, the agenda and the experience of a community designed to raise the practice of auditing. As a Charter Member you keep your membership reference price for two years and become part of the founding group.
The competence criteria and assessment decisions remain under independent governance: Charter Members do not intervene in technical criteria or in individual outcomes.
Join the cohortCharter recognition is community-based and is not to be confused with a professional competence grade.
Responsible scope
What AUDITORS is, and what it is not
The experience should feel premium, but its value depends on every limit being explicit. Membership opens community; competence is decided by evidence.
AUDITORS does not promise employment, clients, hiring by G-CERTI, or approval of an assessment.
Membership opens community and benefits; it does not constitute competence certification.
Competence verification is not bought: it is demonstrated with evidence before independent functions.
No IAC grade obliges G-CERTI to hire, nor authorizes anyone to certify in its name.
